I am so very sorry. I dread the day one of my babies goes to the bridge.

They are together at Rainbow Bridge waiting for you. They are very happy. Be thankful he wasn't in pain long.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend!! I am going thru a scare with one of my cats now and had one die suddenly last December of a heart attack. You just never know.... we can only love them for the short time they are here. Welcome to the Cat Forum, I am sorry it is not under better circumstances you are here.

wow!! My oldest is 15 and that is the one that was just diagnosed with heart disease last week. It is heartbreaking cuz they are such a part of us!! I know words will not help but know that prayers are headed your (and your mom's way). For me, a way to get thru it was to talk about the good times and continue to remember them. If you want, tell us about your cat: Name, color, funny habits, etc....... It always made me cry to talk about it, but it helped get it out, so if you want to, I know we would all love to hear all about your cat!

That is one of the best ways to get through the tough times.
