Cat Hair Cleaning Tricks

Cleaning cat hair is an ongoing thing as we all know. I'm just curious as to what kind of tricks, ideas, or supplies that people use to do the job. Thought we'd all become more knowledgeable in this. I'm always open to new and cool ideas. I use a rubber glove to get the surface hair off the furniture. I never knew about this until a few months ago. It works like an absolute charm and it's cheap! I was so excited! Heck, we don't even have to talk just about cleaning hair, let's go with any kind of cleaning tricks or ideas!

The biggest cat hair issue I have is on clothes...I have those sticky rollers you can buy from Target/Wal-Mart and I have TONS of refills!

And as for cat hair around the house...just vacuuming and sweeping.

Another alturnative that works for brushing
cat hair off of clothes & furniture is the
Vermont Country Store Lint brush. It really works.

I agree with the rubber glove trick and the sticky rollers, I have those rollers everywhere! the little ones are great to keep in the car. I have one of those rubber sponges, it works really well. I use a swiffer duster on my hard floors, that works great! I vacuum a lot too. If you can afford it (I'm saving my pennies) the dyson animal vacuum is great, it picked up so much hair (I've used my MIL's)

With 5 cats at the moment i find it really hard to get the cat hair of my stair carpet (only place that has carpet) as well as the rubber mitt, i use a rubber edged squidgy( i think thats what they're called) -The things used for cleaning Windows to get the soap and dirt off.

These work brilliant on carpets as my hoover will not pick the hairs up entirely, i find this is the next best thing.
