Do you ever discuss the cat forum with friends and family?

Have you ever been discussing something about cats or totally unrelated with a friend or family member and then say something like "yeah! you know someone on the cat forum said the same thing" or "yeah we were discussing that on the cat forum". Or lets say friends/family come to visit you have to show them the cute pics on the meet my kitty page. Then you are greeted with sighs, eye rolling, and that often used phrase "oh not the cat forum again!!". Maybe I am just nuts...well my friends/family think I am anyways.

Some typical faces I get when I talk about the cat forum.

I have to say that my secret love affair with the cat forum is top secret!! I doubt whether anyone would actually understand just how cool you guys all are...they'd probably think we were all raving loonies!!

Very select sharing. With most of my friends and family I make a real effort not to discuss cats at all or I can feel the sighs and eye rolling coming on.

My husband and several friends know all about cat forum. Most people I work with are pretty limited as far as computer/internet experience. I would first have to explain what a "forum" is before I could began to explain about Cat Forum. I have a feeling I would bore them to tears pretty quickly, so I don't share.

Actually, yeah

Without the Cat Forum, I might not have Scully or her precious kittens with me today. The entire family is grateful for this place. Plus, I have friends (and even coworkers ) who ask for any advice I or my "forum people" may have to offer
