Got him.. sad then happy

You all can go back and see the feasco I went through with Beaver..

Well, it got worse. The people we gave him to refused to call me back. So I called and called, like every five minutes for two days and finally got a call this morning. They THROUGH him outside because the uncle that brought him home for the little girl didn't have permission to bring him home. In short, they didn't want him and instead of calling me or even calling me back they through him out like trash. I called every "last name here" in the book and finally after hundreds of calls and the run around got a relative to give me a street where they live. We walked up and down calling him and he came running. Beaver is home tonight! I am so happy I had to share. Never the less, I didn't give them the replacement cat, who has a new home lined up for next week! To a woman who's husband died and needs companionship. Much better home than these fools! Thanks for letting me share and vent at the same time. We were so happy when we found him and he was so happy to see us!

Glad things turned out OK for you and Beaver. People like that shouldn't own any animals at all

You sure you don't want to keep the replacement cat, as well?

Good, good baby...

What was the uncle thinking? An uncle should never be authorized to give a niece a cat.

I agree -- I don't think that ANYONE should give an animal as a present without consulting first.

Thanks guys... what I can't get over is the fact the guy asked for a replacement cat for Beaver and I had jumped through hoops and spent some of my travel money for her... just add that to the whole dumping the cat thing. It just didn't make sense! Then, they live in a great neighborhood. All the dog walkers were even helping us call and look for Beaver.
