Kitty Play Regimen
I have a feeling my cats aren't getting enough active playtime. So I was just wondering what other people do to play with their cats and get them to "exercise" ...
Some of the things I have/do:
- "feather duster" toy (bunch of feathers on the end of a flexible stick)
- toy balls (cats like to play fetch with these and bat them around)
- feather/ball squeaky door hanger (toy suspended from a spandex string)
But it's not easy to play with all six cats, and I feel like they're not getting enough interactive play. Most of the time they just sleep or lounge around (which I know is perfectly normal) ... but I'm pretty sure they're bored. And, well ... they're getting a tad on the tubby side.
What do you guys do to play with your cats? What toys do you use and what do you do with them?
*edit* I used to have the kitty "fishing pole" which they all loved ... But my cats have a tendency to hide their toys, in particular the fishing pole and the feather duster.
