kittens

Just thought I would update you on the kittens, they are 3 weeks old today, they are walking real good with their tummy's off the floor, their teeth are comming in so the last few days I have been introducing them to ham flavored baby food, I put them on their mouths and let them taste it if they want to, so far they don't like the taste but they will sooner or later.

Soooo cute!!

When we found Tink abandoned, she was two weeks old. They're so adorable at that age.

Oh, so cute!
I have heard, though, that ham (or pork) is not good for cats. Don't know exactly why but now that I think about it I don't recall ever seeing ham cat food. Hmm.
Enjoy them!

I did'nt know ham was not good for kittens, I will just use the chicken kind, I start them out on the baby food, then mix it with kitten chow then just the kitten chow, I think it is easier on their tender little new teeth.

Awww!! I'm in love! And I just love the name of Pip Squeak! I'm willing to bet that he/she will end up being the biggest of all the kittens when they're all grown up.

lol, that happened with us -- part of the reason we named Minnie was because she was tiny compared to Tink -- and now she's twice her size. At least the name Tink still works...lol.

I fed our foster kittens baby food pureed meats- they favored the ham flavor. I also gave them KMR milk which they loved.
