Mingling at last

It has been almost 9 months since Peanut Butterum and Sassy Sassafras came home from the shelter. The introductions went pretty quickly actually, with everyone getting to know each other within a week or so.

However, after that, Peanut and Sassy retreated into the master bedroom. There was no fighting or intimidation, it just seemed that the two of them were perfectly happy to be together by themselves. If the other cats went into the bedroom, they would simply go under the bed to their beds and just hang out, catch some sleep or what have you. Still no ill feelings, they just seemed happiest alone.

Well last night, both of them were in the living room. At the time, I was fairly sure it was just one of their little exploring junkets that they go on sometimes. However, they stayed!

And they are still out mingling with the other cats this morning. Sassy Sassafras is sitting on the window table with no other that Diva Etcetera. Both Divas' on one table....its amazing.

Hoping I get the camera battery charged before everyone changes their minds

They must have had a pow-wow and decided it was time to come out from under the bed.
