New peeing place (sigh)

But I guess I can live with it.

She now poops in her litterbox that is in the bathroom, but she has decided to pee down the bathtub drain.

She positions herself right over the drain, so usually it all goes down and you don't see any yellow on the tub - sometimes you see the yellow in the tub.

For now - I just tell my kid that before he takes a bath, he should run some water down the drain.

I need a roommate soon - not so sure how a roommate would feel about a cat that pees in the shower!

It's better than the rug, though.

I wonder if she just doesn't like litter...have you tried leaving an empty litter box out? Maybe put an old towel in one end, leave the other end bare plastic and see if she a) uses it and b) prefers one end or the other.

Hard to believe, but we had a conversation here at work about 5 years ago where a bunch of MEN said they pee in the shower on a regular basis. We did an informal poll around the office, and there were actually more people who DID pee than who DIDN'T!!! (I wouldn't have even thought of it. I mean, come on people.) So maybe your kitty peeing in the bathtub isn't that different than the rest of us have too. Ick.
