Frodo

My kitten Frodo will not answer to his name no matter how many times I say it or what I do. The kittens not deaf or anything like that so I wonder why he won't answer? I've only had him three weeks but my other cat answered to his name a lot quicker than that when I got him.

No cat is on the same schedule. I've had my kittens five weeks and I'm not sure if they know their names. I really don't think so. But you have to keep repeating it to them. For example:

Hi, Cali. No, Cali, that's not food, sweetie, that's my foot. Cali, please let go. Cali, honey, your teeth are imbedded in my thigh, please let go, okay, Cali? Are you hungry, Cali? Cali? Seriously, Cali, that's not food, that's my finger. Cali, can you let go while Mommy gets a bandaid, Cali?

Cali, Cinderella, Cleo and Charlee

It took my cat a while before he figured out his name and he still only listens to it when he feels like hearing it but yes as Marie said, repeat it whenever you can. When you are petting him say "HI Frodo, your a good boy Frodo I love you Frodo, Your so handsome Frodo, what soft fur you have Frodo, Frodo you like to be petted don't you Frodo" When you feed him say "come get it Frodo, here is your food Frodo, eat up Frodo" Basically when you talk to him say his name whenever you can.
