Tucker is my 4 year old ginger boy .. he has alays been a very shy kitty preferring to "hide" on occasion he will sit on my lap for a quick purr and cuddle .. but generally he is a real timid kitty ....

Yesterday .. he is on the couch !!!!! and there he stayed the entire day .. my first thought is " he is sick or injured" but I gave him a thourough check over and he is fine .... but not moving from the couch ...... he eventaully went through for supper and hung around with us for the rest of the evening .. he has NEVER done this .....

I wonder why ??? tired of his own company ??? he gets on fine with the other cats and his particular connection is spookie one of the ex ferals im delighted ... but also puzzled ....

It bothers me that its so out of character for him ... the other possibility is that something has moved into the yard that is scaring him ... and it isnt freeway .. because freeway has been around for ages ...

Ill watch him .. im just worried there is an underlying illness of some description that he is trying to tell me about ....

It could be absolutely nothing... he could be becoming a little more social. I have many timid cats and ferals, and they do alot to surprise me.. stuff that is right out of character. Watch him to make sure he's not sick, but it doesn't sound like he is.
