Is this normal?

This is my friend's cat Al. He lays like this all the time and I think it is so funny. Do any of your cats lay like this?

How can that possibly be comfortable?

Katie

Little-one sleeps like that too. I wouldn't say it's NORMAL but...it's certainly amusing!
Not to worry, he's fine.

Nina often lies like that! I wouldn't worry.

Squirrely-Jo is the only one who likes to stretch out like that. She usually goes from that position, rolls to one side to sit up on her elbows and eventually rolls over and lays on her back with all four in the air...sleeping in that position.

In cocker spaniels it's called the cocker sprawl .

Bob will lay like that from time to time.

I don't recall my cat ever laying like that. I wouldn't worry though, my mom's dog does all the time, especially when chewing on a toy.
