Ever since he got neutered.....

Lucien has been chewing the fur off the inside of his back legs. He never did this before his surgery and I know it is a behavor issue, but I guess I would rather have his doing this then spraying in the house. Any ideas on how to get him to stop doing this besides getting him a nice radio head collar?

Well try to distract him when you see him gnawing at that area. I would just put an e-collar on him for a little while so he isn't chewing on it all the time & hopefully that puts a stop to it

Have you actually seen him chewing it off? I know when my cat had a procedures, the vet shaved a small patch on the inside of her back legs to put the needle in. I not sure if it was for the anesthesia or to take a blood sample.

If you have seen him chewing there, it is possible it still it itches or is irritated from a needle at the vets or the procedure itself. If this is the case, you may need the e-collar until it heals up properly.

OMG that's terrible.

I am beginning to think this may be a food allergy, going to try to change his diet.

I tried the e collar, and scared Faith so much that she bolted around the house and peed on the couch, (thanks faith). SO I guess that will not be going back on him anytime soon.
