Toby the crosspatch!

Where has my snuggle bunny gone? Since coming home, Toby has been a real crosspatch -not wanting love, no kisses, even went for me when I tried to pet him earlier. Its only just now that he has consented to sit on my lap for petting and purr at me but I had to place him there. He normally jumps up without so much as an invitation! Its the same story with my flatmate. He is eating just fine and seems otherwise healthy. Could it be that he is missing my brother?

Maybe he's just adjusting. He might not trust his surroundings yet, thinking you might be taking him someone else tomorrow. (I'm sure you'll get better answers than this.)

Oh dear ... if only you knew. Things are sooooo complicated and messy regarding flatmate right now. urgh.

As for Toby - yeah, its probably just him adjusting to being back home. I hope so.

I'm sure he'll be his old loving kitty soon, Allie! It's probably a combination of the trip and missing people he made friends with. I'm hoping so, anyway.

He is probably blaming you for all the upset! I'm sure its nothing personal. Don't try too hard and let him do the hard work to get into your good books. When he realises he is missing out he'll be back to normal.

Cats are such funny creatures. All that worry about how he'll be and look how he repays you!

Hmmm ... kinda better. Thank you for asking . Bit moody but at least he sat on me on his own accord this morning. No kisses yet though and he wants nothing whatsoever to do with flatmate.

Cats are funny little things. Ir at least Tobys a funny little cat

Toby was much more affectionate towards me this morning. Almost back to his usual snuggly self. Hurrah. Still wont have anything to do with flatmate though. I wonder what is going on?

Maybe the blame is still on your flat mate for having to go away! At least you have been forgiven. That is the main thing.

Anyway you said things are messy with your flat mate maybe Toby can sense this.
