Cat and New Baby

I know there's a lot of cat's peeing out side the litter box questions, so here's one more. I have an 11 mth old female cat that has recently starting going outside her litter box. She'll pee on pillows & blankets if left on the floor, the clothes in our laundry basket, and yesterday she peed on a blanket that was in our baby's crib.

Here's the thing. The baby isn't here yet. I am due in less than 3 weeks. We've been moving in baby stuff and getting the room ready. Could she be peeing outside the box due to this? Someone told me she may be marking her territory to get ready for when the baby arrives.

To answer most questions that may come up...

1. I have another cat but they have always gotten along and this has never been a problem in the past.
2. We have 2 litter boxes that are always cleaned out and are in quiet places. We did move the one box out of the baby's room and into another room. But that was weeks ago, and she just starting peeing outside of it w/ in the last week.
3. She is not spayed. But she is not in heat right now.
4. It is large amounts of pee, not small.

So, I am going to bring her to the vet w/in the next couple of days to check for a UTI and get spayed. If that is not the problem, how do I try to solve it if it's due to the new baby coming? Extra attention maybe? We can't keep the cat out of the baby's room as it's a loft.
