Needy Siamese?

Hi guys ^^. I have a Siamese named Kori, we've had her (my family) since she was a kitten. Originally
she was my mothers cat..yeah. Weird story there. Skipping right ahead, Kori now stays with me. She
follows me everywhere I go..and If I'm out of my room for long periods of time, she cries for me to go
back with her.

It's almost as if I'm prisoner. I can only imagine what she does when I leave the house! She's recently
had kittens (with a local cat who hangs around the neighborhood) yet whenever I'm around, she'll just
drop feeding them and come to me. This bothers me, as the poor kittens are always in the middle of
feeding!

Is this going to affect the kittens at all? I've never cared for kittens this young before so I just want
to make sure they're safe =/

Siamese love their human companions, are are big on spending alot of time with them, since you say she ignores the kittens and walks away when they are trying to feed, maybe you should just leave the room until they are finished.

Kittens are never finished nursing. All they do is nurse and sleep. Sleep and nurse. I'd just try to stay near her with her babies so they receive the proper care from her. After they are weaned, I'd have her spayed so she doesn't get the chance to neglect another litter.

Since this thread is two months old, I suspect these kittens are probably weaned by now....
