My Bella girl is goes from one room to the other just meowing. I make sure she is fed and litter box is clean and try to give her some love but she just still meows right past me.
Could it be that she is looking for her momma?
If so how long before they stop looking for the momma?
Also Bella really doesn't like to held or petted, she is shy?
Any chance of her coming around?

Thanks for all the help!

Re: Meowing!

I'm not too sure about the meowing, so can't help there sorry!

There is a chance she want cuddles though... Meeka was pretty affectionate when we first got her but after a few weeks, she decided she hated being picked up and she wouldn't sit still if we tried to hold her.. That lasted a couple of months but now she LOVES her cuddles. Hopefully you'll see the same thing happen!
Unfortunately though, some kitties just prefer not to have human cuddles.

Re: Meowing!

small kittens usually do a lot of meowing. It may feel a bit insecure at the moment. It's good that it has a companion. She probably does look for her mother, but give her time, and lots of comforting and she will be just fine.

Re: Meowing!

She sounds lonely. Try playing with her instead of just cuddles.

The last time people tried to elimate free roaming cats it resulted in The Black Plague.
