It's time to get him neutered. It will stop this behavior, pretty much eliminate the risk of spraying, make him less likely to go roaming the neighborhood and getting into fights with other males (even you keep him in, we will try very hard to get out and likely succeed), he won't be contributing to kitty over populations issues and it also protects him from diseases like testicular cancer. Many, many positives to neutering and no negatives.
