How your cats are welcoming you...

..after you return from a trip?
I was away for 5 days. My wife stayed home with cats. When I came back today, I really didn't fill my cats were very exited about this. They were behaving very normal, like I wouldn't go anywhere. SO sad
M, I'm just kidding

Here is the newest pic of my couple:

Lol, my cat doesn't greet me either, just grumpy that I haven't fed him yet, and destroying things for attention. *sigh*...

When I walk in the door, Kitty usally does his little talk with me and we make conversation with each-other! Samantha and Bryan are both beautiful cats!

Yeah, MowMOw cries and climbs all over me when I've been gone for any length of time. Then he sniffs me so intently that he practically sucks the skin off my face and hands.

Now if my SO is here and stays with him while I run errands I get a few trills and meows and that's about it. I think he just gets lonely and isn't really MISSING me.

When I am gone for extended periods, they simply ignore me when I get back for the first night, and are more intent on where their dinner is. As of the 2nd day, they do seem more clingy than usual. In a couple of days, they are back to their normal rambunctious selves.

I have my theory. I think, that a cat you have from a kitten is more into you than cat adopted as an adult.

Just the opposite in my case. Cleo and Gigi are much more into me than the bratz.

Ditto, I got MowMow as a 3 year old and he is way more into me than the kitten we bottle fed and hand raised ever was.

I could be wrong in my theory. Having two 2yo adopted cats, I just hope I am wrong
