Help, Jackson is obsessed with my hair

How can I get Jackson to leave my hair alone. He is truly obsessed. Just getting anywhere near it he freaks out, clawing and biting it. I can't wear it up all the time.

Oh and I don't mean that cute game with hair, he holds on tight biting and clawing to the point where it hurts and I have to make him let go. It is causing problems at night because he sleeps with me.

I had a cat that pulled hair a long time ago. I changed shampoo and she laid off it. Not sure if that would help or not... sorry no other ideas.

You could get some bitter apple spray and spritz your hair with it, once he get a taste he'll leave your hair alone and you can stop using it.

The bitter apple sounds promising. I wonder if an apple cider vinegar rinse would work similarly after washing?

Ahh, yes...hair pulling. XD Alice used to pull my hair all the time, like it was a game. Somehow she just grew out of it though...I never had to scold her or change shampoos or anything. Now she only does it when she really really really wants something...like dinner. She takes a huge chunk of my hair in her claws, puts it in her mouth, and yanks...hard...but thankfully she only does it once. Little brat.

I was just coming here to post about Apple Cider Vinegar.

I put some in a squirt bottle with water (I use one tablespoon and the rest water in a small squirt bottle) and it keeps Isis away from my hair.

I don't know if it will work for you, but it has worked with mine. I imagine if that's not enough, you could add a few more tablespoons, but I wouldn't recommend too much.

I have to get some bitter apple, Jackson pounced me last night at 4 am to get my hair and each paw landed right on my eyes and felt his claws scratch my eye lids.

The spray and apple vinegar would be my suggestion as well. When I first got my cat, she was also obsessed with my hair (it's length goes past the middle of my back). I tried distracting her with stringy toys when she went for it, which usually worked. She has 0 interest in my hair now. I guess this would not help you when you are sleeping though.
