Unhappy Jackson just scared me to death

I was getting the kittens canned food out of a drawer in the bathroom and before I could stop him Jackson climbed into the drawer and out back and was stuck inside the cabinet. And I couldn't figure out how to get the drawer off.

I freaked out crying because I recently read a story of a kitten that got into a hotel wall and was never found. Luckily my husband was home and he knew how to work the drawers release latches to get it out.

Of course Jackson just looked at us like What? I wasn't doing anything.

Crazy kitty. I don't even want to think of what I'd have done if the hubby wasnt home.

I was a customer service tech for a modular kitchen cabinet company.
There was a client who had angle walls, where the cabinets met there was a filler piece that cover the dead air space between the cabinet.
Little kitten went under the toe kick and right into this space.
Nobody knew where kitty was until he started crying.
Luckily they were able to coax him back out.
They then called us and I went out there and cut some blocks to fill the openings.

Do you know that when you are not logged in and read this thread, the CatForum ad that appears is for dovetail drawers, lol! That's rubbing it in, in this case!

Oh my gosh! That really freaked me out just reading it! I would have been scared to death aswell! They get into some pretty scary and freaky things. Once, I heard all this banging in the family-room and I'm like, 'What's that?'. So I searched everywhere for Kitty and I heard him crying somewhere and I looked in the laundry and I'm like, 'Kitty, Kitty? Where are you? Come out wherever you are'. I looked behind the washing machine and there I saw he's little face, scared as anything, looking back at me, crying his head off. It was quite hard getting him out of there, since he's abit heavy. But he got lot's of attention when he was out
