Flexing Claws

Midnight, the wild cat, has giant claws. He hasn't scratched me for quite a while but when he is resting on his bed on the cabinet in the garage and I pet him, he is very relaxed and flexes his claws in and out and snags the bed cover. Is this a normal response for other cats too?

He's kneading, very normal for a happy cat.

Agreed with the other two. You have a happy and relaxed kitty on your hands.
