Ritz + strange men = UTI

What is the best way to keep Ritz from getting a stress-induced UTI when (nice) men come to my condo next week for two days to do some sanding/patching/painting and cleaning the carpets. I have a small one bedroom condo.
The last time repairmen came, they came for several days, for several hours, loud noise. And Ritz developed a UTI. And when I went on vacation for five days, three months later, she developed a UTI.
So I'm afraid the repair work will set off another UTI.
I thought of placing her in a carrier and moving her to a warm, dark basement, but she'd have to stay in the carrier.
Alternatively, I thought of keeping her in the (only) bathroom.
I have Feliway and Rescue Remedy. Sedatives don't work on her.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
