Keeps Proving Me Wrong

My fiance and I finally got our christmas tree today, a 6 foot white pine. I'd always heard its better to have an artificial with cats, but he wouldn't budge on the subject. Well, Boo-Bear has never cared one way or another about the christmas tree, be it artificial or real. So he sniffed it once, and walked away. But I was only really worried about the kitten.

Well, she goes and proves all my panic was for nothing. She spends about 10 minutes sniffing, chews a few needles but doesn't eat them, and now she couldn't care much less either. She's even fallen asleep next to me on the couch now, in spite of the fact that me being awake means she's awake, and me being asleep means she's asleep.

Cats. Never know what you're gonna get.

Pretty baby! Be thankful she doesn't care about the tree. I had a new artificial tree one year and 3 cats. The all climbed it . The branch joints broke and the tree hung down by Christmas. We through it away the day after Christmas.

That sounds terrible! I couldn't imagine spending money on an artificial (much more expensive than a real tree) for it to be ruined in a few weeks! My parent's cat (pure bred nebelung) has never remotely cared about the tree, and neither has my Boo-Bear.

Glad Izzy doesn't for now, we'll see how decorating the tree goes tomorrow. Lol
