Cat watching dog TV

Our cable had a free preview of dog TV. It is for dogs home alone. They showed close ups of bigger dogs running water, playing in fields, etc. My youngest cat stood and watched the TV for a good 10 minutes. He really liked it.

My kitties like to watch my hubby's screen saver which is an aquarium that cycles through several scenes and chase the fish. They also play with their cat dancer toy together, each chasing one end or the other. Course their kittens, so are very into play and almost anything is ripe for fun.

My kitty, watch part of the Westminster Kennel Club dog award show with me while he was curled up on my lap!

Both my dog and my cats like "animal" programmes - especially ones that feature domestic animals.

Any time we turn on the TV in the living room Ziggy is up on the entertainment center because we use the Wii for Hulu+ and Netflix. She loves to catch the hand that moves around on the screen.

She also loves it when I play Lego Star Wars because of the lights and the movement.

Nala loves the 'videos for cats' section of youtube. I've always turned it off before she's finished so I don't know how long she might sit there.

The unfortunate thing that happened was she was watching a video of birds at a bird feeder with a couple squirrels running around it too. One of the squirrels ran off the screen so she was sure it was behind the computer. She managed to push a 27-inch iMac to tilt off it's base. Fortunately I was sitting there and caught it. But I won't let her watch unsupervised.

There are two youtube channels she likes: videosforyourcat and BillGobson.
