A New Toy

I just picked this up after watching a YouTube video

I have to let the cats watch the video because I donít think they know how to use it.

I spun the ball around and it got everyoneís attention including the dog.

A New Toy

Cherry loves that toy! My parents have dubbed her "thunder kitty" because of how loud it is at night( my room is right above theirs).

The dog liked it too, but his paws were too big for it. He just ended up sending the whole thing flying instead of the ball!

My grandson showed up before I could teach them how the ball goes around and they are in hiding right now. I’m glad to hear that there is hope otherwise I’m going to have to give it to my grandson because he loves it, LOL

My cats love that toy. Even Nyska, who does not play much. If I put some catnip in it she likes it even more.

Within minutes of my grandson leaving all five cats were checking it out. Funny, but the most timid of them has the ball moving pretty fast. She didnít figure it out until she tried to flip it over for the catnip. As soon as that ball started to move she became a different cat. The others are just watching, but I think they will be right on it when this one leaves.

Of the non-interactive toys in the house, that is the one toy that gets consistently used even though it's been around for more than 20 years (well this is #3, the cats killed one and I stepped on one...the fact that it gets replaced really says something). The cutest thing is when two cats get on either side of it and push the ball back and forth to each other.

Maggie likes it placed where she can sneak attack it. I usually have it right next to one end of the coffee table...she sneaks around the back side and pounces. She also knows how to get the ball out of the track so watch for that.

I’m glad to hear such positive remarks. I’m hoping that they don’t get bored too soon like they do with other toys I’ve bought.
I told my son about it and said had one until the cats somehow got the ball out.

Maggie would lay on her back and work a paw under it from each side and pull up...pop...out it came. Maggie is my smart one!

our cats play with one all the time, after a bit emma cat comes over and gives the ball about four precision wacks, speeding it up with each hit untill its a blurr, then she walks away "thats how you do it" (the flashing ball in the latest one died from over use)
