Outdoor cats: training them to stay in at night
I was having success at keeping my cats in at night but as the weather gets a little warmer, I am losing the battle. They come home but until they do, I worry. Unfortunately they aren't coming when I call them and I can't be yelling too loud at night.
Right now they eat 5PM and then went out for a couple of hours and came back. Now they seem to be sleeping and hanging around after dinner but want to go out later. It is hard to take. I try to play but it ends up in pacing, meowing, one bullying the other. Finally they go down for the night but I am not happy with all this.
Anyone have any success with training indoor at night?
