siberian kitten - behavior issues
hey guys, i've had a persian in the past but after spending a few years without a cat i find myself now with a 5 month old siberian kitten. He's adorable, healthy and really affectionate. The thing is, i have this obsession with trying to keep everything perfect for him, and living in a apartment isn't helping. He loves climbing on stuff and for the past couple of weeks decided to be just a little bit of a jerk despite how often i play with him. he has every kind of toy on the market so i dont think thats what he's lacking, but watching "my cat from ****" on animal planet is giving me the idea that he needs a couple of cat shelves so he can keep moving above ground level after he reaches the top of his 6 foot cat tree. Only problem is, i cant put in amount without some pretty big bolts to hold his weight, and my landlord isnt ok with idea of putting anything in the wall larger than a common screw.
So heres the question i need help with. how can i get him to be able to walk around above ground level on something safe if i cant use bolts for cat shelves.
*he loves climbing and this new aggression is leaving me to walk around with new bloody scars on a daily biases, so any help would be great!
Thanks in advance!
