Unhappy my cat is missing

My cat has escaped from my parents house 3 days ago. I brought my cats to my parents for Christmas as I live about 100 miles away. My cats do know my parents area a little bit but bane was quite stressed this visit. He escaped 3 days ago and the first two nights he was coming for food at around half past 9 each night. I figured out where he was staying in a nabours garage which wasn't quite shut so during the 3rd day we went to check the garage and he bolted out. For the last two night he hasn't come for food and we don't know where he is now hiding

Oh no amethyst, how stressed you must be!

I'd pass out flyers in your parent's neighborhood and let everyone in that area know you've got a missing cat. Recent photos of your kitty would be a big help, especially if you offer a reward. Check your shelters too, just in case someone turns him in.

Few questions though:
Was he microchipped or wearing an ID collar?
Neutered?
Is it freezing cold in your parent's neighborhood?

If he's fixed, he's probably nearby. I'd continue to leave food and water out for him and prepare to physically go out looking for him everyday/night.

Hope he's ok...crossing fingers for you!

Any word on your kitty Amethyst? If it's cold where you are, he probably went to find a source of warmth - he could have gotten into someone else's garage or snuck into someone's house.

Do you still have any used litter? Cats can be drawn back by their own scent so leaving litter out can help.
