2 kittens and a cat, best litter?

Any suggestions on safest litter for kittens and best for odor? Right now I am using worlds best, along with finishing up a bag of cat attract I had gotten for 2 feral kittens I trapped Dec. 16th. Now they are fine with using box, and although I scoop all boxes at least twice a day, would like your litter experiences. I initially stared worlds best with my Charli so I didn't have to worry about her possibly ingesting, she was playing a lot in her litter. These two, Maggie and Rosie, just use their box for what it's meant for, so I can pretty much switch to anything. Thanks.

Hi Sabrina,
How old are the kittens?
There are so many choices out there!
I hope that some of our fosterer's can help you with this question!

Kittens are 3 months. Charli is 11 months.

At 3 months any litter you prefer will work just fine. They will outgrow playing in the litter. My foster babies always do this the first time they encounter scoopable clay litter because they are raised on the pine pellets which I actually prefer.

Personally I'm still a fan of world's best or Swheat scoop - but that's partly because clay litters irritate my asthma. That being said, I use Swheat scoop exclusively and add a bit of baking soda. I don't find there's a smell at all...although the raw food may take partial credit for that, lol.

My pet peeve with Swheat Scoop is the tracking. I find it incredibly messy.

I had bad experience with swheat scoop when Charli was little, it was full of MOTHS! Contacted company, sent me coupons for free bags, told me to check codes on bags and how to interpret code, went to store, bought what I was supposed to, came home, FULL OF MOTHS. I thought initially it was okay, as I did not see them until I saw Charli intently staring at her litter, I went over and watched with her as a moth wiggled it's way out of the litter. They were those awful pantry moths. That was it, the end of swheat scoop.

I started using pine pellets this year for the first time in the cat room and also for the first time I had gnats - or fruit flies - not sure what they were. I think it was due to the pine pellets I bought but since it started in summer I can't be sure. I just don't know if this coincidence or not.
