weird behavior by my cat phishy

I have had two cat beds for as long as i have had them.
in three years phishy has never slept in the beds.
Today he did.
Is it too cold inside for him?
asimov loves both the cat beds.

goodbye my sweet baby Sir. Tomas... 8-12-14

Possibly it's too cool for him. Cats have a warmer body temp (100 to 102.5F) than we do YOu don't indicate where you live, but if you're experiencing a cold winter, a lot of our houses are not as warm as other times of the year. It's a lovely cozy cat bed, and I wish I had something like that to crawl into with these cold minus temps we've had lately.

It's entirely possible that he just wanted a little extra warmth. My girls always had preferred sleeping spots for different weather. The beds were generally untouched in the summer.

How old is phishy? I don't know if cats get more sensitive to cold as they age, but my Margaux definitely seemed to get more sensitive as she got older.

He's adorable! He should hang out in there more often so you can get more pics of him looking adorable.
