clicker training?

I feel like I'm spamming the behaviour forum a bit, but I'm interested to know if anybody has successfully clicker trained their cat, and if so, what have they trained them? I've trained Scarley to sit, big and give paw on command, but I'm trying to ramp it up by training her to get down off the counter using positive reinforcement. She's kind of stopped responding to the clicker now she's older, and as the tricks are so established, I've not used it in a while.

Let me know if you have any tips or tricks!

I use the clickers with my kitties, it works quite well you get the basics down with them.

You mentioned that it's 'wearing off', the reason you see that issues could be one of two things - your rate of reinforcement is too low, or the cat is getting too confused. In any case, you don't always need to use a clicker.

When you use a clicker you use it to teach a new behavior, or to brush up. The goal is to not need a clicker, and to be able to use another marker.

I made a big post about counter training with my guys, here's a link https://www.catforum.com/forum/37-beh...ml#post2355113
