Post Tips on making both cats feel comfortable inside?

One of my outside cats, Twilight, is getting spayed this weekend and since it's freezing out she'll have to stay inside for a couple of days. However, my permanent inside cat and Twilight don't like each other and fight anytime they get near each other. Does anyone have any tips on how I can make them both comfortable while Twilight is inside for a couple days? Thank you for your time!

I would suggest you almost treat this situation like a first step intro and make a safe room for twilight with all the things she needs inside. Keep her inside the room while she is recovering and visit her there regularly. Keep a small radio on for comfort this way she will feel safe and she won't be stepping in you indoor cats territory too much so that should help. They will smell under the door I am sure but then no face to face incidents should help. I am sure others will add to this

When I TNR the female feral I keep her in a large dog crate so you can put in a litter pan and a small bed so she can lie on to keep warm. I also cover the entire crate with a thin flat sheet so she has privacy and not scared. I keep my other pets out and provide the water bottle that you can hang on the crate and put a bowl inside the crate so I can spoon the canned food thru the crate bars. You can have all this set up before you put her in the crate.

Keep them separated. Twilight will need rest and peace to recover from her spay, so keeping her confined to one room is best anyways.
