I'm so very sorry that your cat is missing.

It might help to post a general location though so people know if they are in your area

Most cats if they're missing don't go much further than a mile or so. Was he microchipped? Have you posted a description within our neighborhood on posts, bulletin boards, vet offices? Some cats can get locked into someone's garage by mistake. Have you notified an animal shelter or rescue in your area? Checked with the roads dept., or who it is that picks up dead animals off the road. Some cats can just wander off, and start eating some food left out for their cat or dog, and then for whatever reason decide to hang around at that house. I certainly hope your cat comes back, or at least you find out what happened to him. Good luck!

Another thought....do you have coyotes or foxes in your area? Many a cat has become a coyote's meal.

Yes, we have no clue to your geographical location, so it's more of a challenge to help. Did he ever go outside or was he an indoor only cat that escaped?
A lot of male cats that are intact will roam further away from home, though, up to about a 2 mile radius. Hopefully he's neutered.

I'd leave some food and water outside your home, and perhaps your old, worn t-shirt, too, so he finds your familiar scent.

Is it cold where you live?
