Whiney Kitty

I got my cat when he was 7yrs old from a woman who had decided that she'd wanted to get a new puppy, and got rid of her 2 cats to do so. He's now almost 10, and he has one very annoying habit that I'm wondering what I can do about it. He whines all the time. Even when he's being petted. I guess the other cat he used to live was very nasty and he never was around it, so I don't think he's lonely. He'll whine when there is food in his dish, so I don't think it's because he's hungry. He's not sick. What could I do about this?

well... maybe that's his way of saying he's comfy. or he's just talking to you.

he might have the "edith bunker" voice in the cat world.

anyway, i just think that could be part of his personality and he's vocal.

Re: Whiney Kitty

don't do anything. enjoy him for the way he is.

I've got one like that. I call him my little "growly cat", because it seems he's always bitchin' about something. I think I would miss it now if he was gone
