Billie's Acting Weird my Vet is closed right now

Since last night Billie seems to be anxious and restless. She's making a crying sound that at first I thought was a cry of pain. Checked her out but she seems OK, now she's wandering around the house crying. She's eating, drinking and using her litter box. The other cats run to her when she crys too loudly. Billie is 5 months and not spayed yet. Can anyone give me a clue

sounds like she's in heat... but I don't know if she's too young. I don't know what age female kittens mature at. If she is in heat, she is probably very uncomfortable, and might act extra affectionate. DO try to get her spayed as soon as possible, since it is MUCH healthier for her!

Thanks Vanillasugar for your response. So you think she may be in heat? I've never had a kitty go into season before so I'm not sure about their behavior, I've always spayed or neutered my cats around 4 months or so

yes i definatley think she's in heat. I would wait until this heat is over, and get her spayed as soon as possible!

Sounds about right, what else is she doing? Cleaning her back end more than usual? Sitting funny? Waddling a little when she walks? If so then she's in heat. She'll most likely be a lot more vocal for the next few days. After that wait until she's not showing any signs of being in heat and schedule her spay.
