Cat had a PU two months ago, I have a question.

My seven year old male cat kept getting blocked every august/September, and it happened twice this year so he had a perineal urethrostomy two months ago. He's been doing great, last month he had some problems urinating and went to the vet again. He had a bladder infection, so they did a culture and it came back negative. He was on antibiotics for about a week and he's been doing great since then.

I'm a little worried because I have gotten use to feeling his abdomen to make sure his bladder isn't swollen, but I felt a lump yesterday and I'm not sure what it is. He's not acting any differently, his appetite is great, he's drinking water and playing. I'm just not sure what it is I'm feeling! He doesn't act like it bothers him when I feel of his abdomen and I caught him peeing today so I know he's not blocked, and he didn't act like he had any trouble or pain while he was peeing. The lump is around his intestines, I think its his bladder but I'm not sure what a healthy, not blocked cat bladder, is suppose to feel like.

It's just making me nervous and I'll make an appointment with the vet if I notice anything different, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice? Should I be able to distinguish my cat's bladder from every other squishy feeling thing around his stomach? =)
