Help! New cat!

My wife and I just adopted a cat from an adoption society, she is 4 years old. We are worried about her because she seems to hardly poop (only once in the last couple days) and we have never seen any evidence of her peeing at all. She doesn't have "accidents" out of the litter box (and thus she knows where to go), as the one time she pooped it was in the litter box. She also seems to hardly drink any water. She had a little bit of milk we put in front of her. She doesn't seem like she's having difficulty peeing, she just doesn't seem to want to go. What should we do?

Re: Help! New cat!

Has she seen a vet since the adoption? It's always good to pick a vet (if you don't have one) and make an appointment for a new arrival.

Secondly, what are you feeding her? How often? What was she eating at the adoption place?

also, dont give milk. It upsets their stomachs and can cause diarrhea.
