Kitten VS All Life Stage food

I have Tessa on Taste of the wild kibble.(high protein, grain free ALS food) I also feed her Evo canned and Wellness kitten canned. She does not like the Wellness at all. Even mixing it with warm water only gets her eating maybe a few teaspoons worth. Is kitten food the best for her since she's pregnant? If so, what kitten food works for you? I will not feed Science Diet, Iams, Purina or any other food that contains corn, wheat or by-products.

Re: Kitten VS All Life Stage food

I've never been a fan of kitten foods, even for my kittens. I've generally seen diarrhea issues. I think a high quality all life stages food is fine for a pregnant cat. Let her eat as much as she wants since she needs to gain weight and carry her kittens. Just don't let her gorge and bring it back up. I'd ration it out over multiple meals per day.

Kitten or ALS food is just fine, you may want to feed a little more than usual though (if you are not already).
