concerns

I recently found a stray cat home.
Its been living in my front yard.
It only Ocassionally comes inside.
When i found him, he had a large head wound, which healed within a couple weeks.
and he had a few other cuts.

it's been just over a month now, and as i pet him, i still feel cuts and scratches, but i sware their in different places.

I have two other indoor cats.

and as i was petting one of them i felt a scab under the fur.

im concerned this new cat has some kind of sickness and has spread it to my indoor cats.

help!

Then take everyone to the vet for an exam and some blood tests, specifically testing for FIV and FeLV.

Myself...I think what you are feeling are scabs from scuffles with other cats and/or the cats have fleas and are scratching themselves with their claws too vigorously.
Best of luck getting this sorted out.
Heidi

Re: concerns

you're probably right.

they do all have fleas, and the do come in contact sometimes.

i'll take them to the vet soon.
