Ok to bring those of you up to speed that don't know me or Taylor I adopted her just a few months ago.
She is 6 years her owner at the time was adamant she stay on the food she has always had which was Cat Chow and never eat wet....
I figured this was because she would become very ill or something would happen if I changed her food.... but after doing research I realized that if I changed her really slowly and kept an eye on her I REALLY needed to get her off the CC.
Sooo I started slowly and moved her to Performatrin life stages,, it had real 'named' meat in the first ingredient and I think it was the 4th ingredient corn instead of the 1st like in the CC...
After she did well on that, I changed her to Performatrin Ultra and she did great with that so I started adding some wet and she is doing great on that too..
I just found out something really disturbing about an ingredient in the PUltra.. here is the list of whats in it.. looks good doesnt' it!!! It's the second to last ingredient that has made me switch it.. I'm so sad I really thought I had her on the right track.. however in my defense the CC and the other Performatrin had it in and all the nasty brands at the supermarket also but there is some disturbing write ups on it... http://www.dogfoodproject.com/index.php?page=menadione
