Very Dry Poop

Ginger's poop is so dry that the cat litter doesn't even stick to it. It's also a pale tan color. Is that normal? She eats 2.5 oz of Evo 95 beef canned food during the day and 2 TB of Blue Buffalo Wilderness crunchies as a bedtime snack.

It sounds like Ginger's stool may be on the verge of constipation due to its dryness. My recommendation is that you eliminate the kibble from her diet entirely and replace it with more canned food (canned food=better hydration). Also, mix some warm water into her canned food to make it a gruel that she can lap up (more water=better hydration). The more water she takes in, the more water will be available in her digestive tract to moisten her stool and prevent constipation.

You might also be able to prompt her to drink more water by placing more water bowls around your house and keeping the water in them very fresh. Some cats also love to drink running water out of a pet water fountain or even a dripping faucet.
