Kitten has something in her eye, take to vet?

I saw something in the corner of her eye and it looks kind of like a bit of the litter. It's in the bottom corner but I don't want to try to remove it myself, if I brush her nose she closes her eyes so I know it's actually in that little area of her eye since I cannot see it when her eye is closed.
I sadly have class until 5:00 today and 1:00 tomorrow which means tomorrow afternoon (Friday) is when I could take her in. This doesn't seem to be bothering her and I'm not sure if it will come out on it's own or not.

Get some preservative free saline solution (from the contact lens area of the drugstore) and gently flush the eye.

Hi SnowyOwl!
Agree with Doodlebug!
The eye wash has to be Saline only! No other additives!
You may have to gently flush her eye several times, to get it out.
Good Luck!

Do you think she should flush the eye if it is a piece of clumping litter? I guess I have no better solution, but just the chemistry of clumping litter seems to congeal it to wherever it is when wetted.

Jeff, that's a good point, but because it's already in the corner of the eye...it's already had natural tears wetting it....
If it doesn't come out easily, then a vet trip, should be the next step...
