SPROUTS...for Cats?!!

I found this an intriguing idea! I may be trying it out on my bunch!:p

There's a HUGE benefit.....that Dr. Becker glossed over in there.....it appeared when she 'said'
Quote:
Most...cats...will eat grass occasionally or even on a regular basis because they know instinctively that it improves their digestive health
Cats do require a tiny amount of fibre in their diet...not to feed the cat....but...to feed the bacteria in the cat's gut.

'Wanna know more?

Two links inside this:
Quote:
Grass Growing 'cat grass' indoors has become quite popular, for those cats who have no outdoor access, lack access to safe grass outdoors, or experience long grassless winters. Grass contains fiber, not only in the grass itself but in its juice. Cats know a thing or two. Grass growing kits are widely available but for the definitive site on growing your own cat grass, please click [UNDER] the grass.

I've considered getting some of the cat grass many times but always decide against it. My main concern is that if I encourage them to eat it and they like it they might decide to try different plants as well. We've been very, very lucky to have never had an animal show interest in eating house plants, not even a nibble. I'd hate to do anything to change that.
