cat got nail stuck in paw

it doesn't look to far in but makes me worried and have to wait til the vet opens I don't even know how to trim a cats nail because she is a stubborn cat she hisses when i want to do trim nail and i have to wait til she falls asleep
she been scratching on my new chair and it is the one that rolls around so it probably happen then.

and i'm scared for the price as my vet doesn't take care credit anymore and a small town it sucks. what can i do? I am hoping she doesn't need surgery but she isn't limping

Is the nail still imbedded in her? Which paw? Omg, your poor girl.

I know if it were me, she'd be at the e-vet, but I guess money is a big concern for you now. I don't know about surgery, but I'd expect some suturing, pain meds, and antibiotics for sure, maybe even an e-collar to prevent licking the site afterwards. Hopefully it's not as bad as you think!

Keep us posted, I'll be thinking of your girl tonight.
