cat litter box unsafe ?

I had gotten my cat this

Litter Box Enclosure

except mines black not white and it looked big but honestly it isnt as big as i thought especially for my big cat and the litter box that will only fit in there is 18.5 by 15.25 inches. and it is enclosed as you can see. my cat is still using his big litterbox i just have to go get one that will fit from the store.

will this harm my cats lungs or anything ? i would hate to not use it cuz its already bought and put together

it really wasnt worth the money but could i put this to use and my cat be okay ? just figured id ask in this section

thanks...

I don't think it will hurt your cat, but you will need to keep it clean or the enlcosed space will get smelly I think. If your cats not comfortable inside or doesn't like going in a coverd box, he just won't use it. It sounds to be more suitable for very small cats by the sizes mentioned.

Hi CatCat!
Even if he decides he doesn't like it as a litter box...all may not be lost! He might like it as a comfy bed, and hidey hole!

I've had one of those for almost 7 years now. It's the only litter box in the house.

The only time it got dangerous was when one of the bratz tried to move the microwave in there. Another girl wanted candles and incense. No! No electricity and no flames!

best litterbox for big cats?

the enclosed litterbox i got was way too small for my cat so im using it as his sleeping place or chill spot but right now he is using a tiny litterbox and i have been searching for a big or large litterbox and on all the reviews people with big cats say they are too small and they just look tiny for me. i am about to make my own.

but can someone help me out or post a link for me or something ? and anyone with HUGE long haired cats what do you use for litterbox?

thanx

Here is what i use. I have two of them. I cut a square entrance hole in the front with a box cutter. I laid the lid under it to collect litter.

I also use the "under bed" type. Not as tall but has a little more actual space. It's crazy how small litter boxes are, or maybe I'm just use to the storage containers.
