Question Cat with Urinary Crystals

Hi everyone,

I have a brother / sister pair of 3 year old Egyptian Mau cats. I joined this forum because my male cat has been to the vet twice with urinary crystals and I am looking for a canned food recommendation and any other advice you may have to offer.

Males are more prone to this problem, and it's dangerous for them, how discouraging. Perhaps you are already feeding canned food? Avoid dry food, the kibble. Do add some warm water to the food to make cat-food-stew, mix it in nicely. That will encourage him to take in more moisture.

Others will have more specific brand recommendations. Good luck.
