She's such a little trooper. She's back hanging out with her sister in the sun, looking cute, even crawling into my lap after I just gave her the dreaded MEDS.

Cali got her staples removed on Friday, she's healing great! She can run beautifully and is learning that if she trots, it's easier than walking. She took her onsie off when we got home and I let her keep it off. She's not licking her suture sites, just grooming her long hair, which has been covered for two weeks. I'm posting pictures below, if you think they will bother you, please don't scroll down. She does have a missing leg, but I think she's adorable. My sister put it perfectly, she looks like a brand new little Dr. Seuss character. She has a new second-favorite place, on top of the new cat tree where nobody can bother her. And just by a wonderful coincidence, she can get down by using the levels as stairs. Her first favorite place is still on my lap. The Dr. Seuss picture is the one where she's licking Cleo's forehead.

I'm very happy to read this. I have been following the thread and it is great to see such a positive outcome. It's important to do a physical check of our pets to catch something before it worsens and your actions prove that. Great pics and great news!

What a strong girl you have. Give her a hug for me.

Don't be to critical of a mistake. It is evidence that at least
someone tried to do something.

That's wonderful that she can climb up and down the cat tree! She looks happy with her tail up.
