Spay scar after over 2 weeks

Hello all,

I love this forum and ot has helped me a lot wirh the many doubts I have with my 4 loves.

I've had everybody fixed without issues but I had my youngest spayed on march 12th. All went fine, she refused to have a bandage after the first days, but wasnt licking the wound as well. She had internal stitches and a long term antibiotics shot.
It was all fine until yesterday. I was checking her scar and some liquid was oozing. Nothing major and she is not in pain, eats, drinks and sleeps as normal and she's back to her crazy self. Could this be a reaction to the stitches? I called the vet and I'm supposed to monitor her until tomorrow and then take her there if it doesn't stop oozing.

Can you guys give me your seasoned opinion? Shoul I take her in today?

I would definitely take her in to the vet tomorrow. It's looks a bit infected to me and I think it should be more healed up after 3 weeks than it is. She likely has been licking at it.

Thank you very much for your opinion. I will take her in to be safe and to ease my mind. 🙂
