Bump on cats ear?

I am trying to figure out what a bump is on my 7 month old cats base of his ear on the back. I noticed it today and its reddish pink looks like its skin irritation has no hair on that section and feels almost hard to the touch but if I pull it up its clearly on the surface skin. Kitten has barely been around other cats and surpervised so I dont think he was scratched and I dont see any puncture of injury. Looks like swollen skin with a pinkish hue. Tomorrow being christmas eve I cannot bring him to vet but need some opinions.

If it's a scratch from another cat, it will usually help up in a few days. Just hope it's not ringworm. Give us an update.
