I vacuumed my cat

Winnie is at least 15 years old and I haven't seen her clean herself in a long time. Because she's stone deaf and no longer afraid of the vacuum cleaner I used the hose to suck up loose hair, flea eggs, etc. She actually liked it! I followed it up with some flea drops and a brushing.

Next time I'll brush her first and use the vacuum to get rid of whatever the brush didn't get.

I've used the dust buster on Tommy and he tolerates it reasonably well except when I get near his "privates". But he isn't afraid of most of the things cats normally fear. So, I think it's just the noise cats don't like, as your experience seems to prove.

That works! I am sure your kitty felt so much better after that, and it is not as traumatizing as a bath.

Mine are terrified of the vacuum

I am presuming that you are using a handheld vaccum...is it right???

The Oreck vaccums are very quiet.
